Hi Anna and Allie Curry! Happy birthday yesterday, Anna! Although I've intended to read your blog before now, I have to admit this is my first time. That isn't to say I haven't thought of you girls often and Clara and Christy have given me updates. I was taken aback when I heard your voice message last night, haha! I was so confused and thought at first you must be back home already. Sorry we missed you. That's hilarious that you called overseas just to get my quiche recipe! I hope you figured out the quiche and did add milk! Here's the recipe: Fresh veggies (or 10 oz. box of frozen broccoli or spinach), 1 C. milk, 1 C. sharp cheddar or swiss, 3 eggs, 1/2 t. salt, 1/4 t. pepper, 1/8 t. nutmeg. Mix all together and put in pie shell. I also like to add feta and sauted onions and red peppers. Bake at 375 for 45 - 55 minutes.
I'm glad to hear you've already had rich, lasting experiences. I admire you following your hearts - seeking your "personal legends" - with God as your guiding light. Struggling to live in the present time. Good for you!
Clara it was great talking to you the other night, thanks again for calling! Fun to hear your voice. And yes you did see a quiche recipe on this website. :) Allie and I called Jon and Ali to see if we needed to add milk b-c we made quiche. Ali B. - thanks for the recipe and your kind note.
We miss you all and I am envious that Allie gets to see you all soon!!!
